Build a World with Disney Infinity
Have a gamer on your hands? Extend their play off screen with this hands-on activity that gets them creating their very own playset using Disney Infinity characters. All you need is some cardboard, paperclips and a good old dose of imagination. Check out this set featuring a mash up of old west and outer space—just the sort of thing kids love to create.
Paint a cactus on a piece of cardboard. The back of a cereal box will do. This piece of cardboard was recycled from the Infinity packaging—it's a game that kept on giving.
You can also use markers if you don't have paint on hand.
Once the paint is dry, cut everything out.
You can create other pieces, too. Try varying the heights of the pieces to give the set more dimension.
Now take a paperclip. Bend the inner arch out to a 90-degree angle. Tape it to the back of your pieces. If you have a long piece, use multiple paperclips.
Now, set up your scene and play! Create an original story with the figurines or have them act out a scene from one of your favorite films. You could even use this as a backdrop for stop animation videos featuring your favorite characters. The possibilities are endless.
