How To Make It
  • 1

Instructions for Helmet: Print the template on regular paper or card stock and cut out the pieces.

  • 2

Starting with the front of the helmet, make all folds along dotted lines away from you. Using glue or double-sided tape, secure all tabs to their corresponding pieces.

  • 3

Three helmet straps have been provided. Cut out two straps, and attach one to each side of the helmet, aligning the black borders at the top and bottom of the straps with the corresponding black borders on the front of the helmet. Wrap the straps around your child's head to determine the exact size of the helmet. Secure the straps when you're satisfied with the fit. You may use the third strap if two are insufficient.

  • 4

Fold each wing in half along the dotted line, and secure so that the design is two-sided. Align each helmet wing with its corresponding shaded semicircle and secure with glue or tape.

  • 5

Instructions for Mjolnir: Print the template on regular paper or card stock, cut out the pieces, and make all folds along dotted lines. While regular paper is sufficient for the handle, we recommend card stock for the actual hammer to ensure maximum durability.

  • 6

Attach an empty toilet paper roll to the top of an empty paper towel roll by inserting one an inch or so inside the other and securing the extended handle with strong tape. Wrap the printed handle pieces around the empty rolls and secure with glue or tape.

  • 7

Insert the toilet paper roll end of handle through the hole in the bottom of the hammer (printed side should be facing down). Secure all tabs to the handle with strong tape.

  • 8

For extra support, attach the four stabilizers by securing the long tabs to the handle and the short tabs to bottom of the hammer.

  • 9

Attach the sides of the hammer to the bottom of the hammer by securing the light blue tabs on the bottom of the hammer to the corresponding edges of each side piece.

  • 10

Attach the ends of the hammer by securing the light blue tabs on each end to the corresponding edges on the side and bottom pieces.

  • 11

Finally, close the hammer by securing the light blue tabs on the top of the hammer to the corresponding edges on the side and end pieces.
