Miles Morales Gift Wrap

What You’ll Need:

  • Gift box
  • Dark blue matte wrapping paper
  • Pencil
  • Craft knife
  • White cardstock
  • Holographic self-adhesive paper
  • Red paper
  • Scissors
  • Clear Tape

How to Make It:

  1. Wrap the gift with dark blue wrapping paper.
  2. Create a spider web stencil. Sketch a spider web onto cardstock and carefully cut out with a craft knife.

  3. Trace two spider web shapes onto the back of holographic self-adhesive paper. Carefully cut out with a craft knife.
  4. Trace one spider web shape onto red paper. Carefully cut out with a craft knife.
  5. Create Miles Morales’ eyes by drawing an almond-shape with a straight bottom-edge onto white paper. Carefully cut out. Repeat with red paper, creating a slightly larger shape so that when layer, the red edges around the white paper. Attach by rolling a piece tape and sticking it to the back of the white pieces.

  6. Cut out two thin strips of red paper and fold to make pop-up tabs. Attach to the back of the set of eyes by rolling a piece of tape for each.

  7. Remove the backing from the holographic self-adhesive spider webs and stick onto the gift box.

  8. Finally, attach the red spider web and the two eyes with tape.

Gwen Stacy Gift Wrap

What You’ll Need:

  • Gift box
  • Black matte wrapping paper
  • Cardstock (pink, aqua, white glitter)
  • Craft paper trimmer
  • Scissors
  • Tape

How to Make It:

  1. Wrap the gift with black wrapping paper.

  2. Use the paper cutter to cut a large rectangular piece of pink cardstock and 1/4” strips of aqua cardstock.
  3. Cut wide strips of white glitter cardstock.
  4. Cut a lightning bolt out of the white glitter cardstock.

  5. Cut out Gwen Stacy’s eyes from pink cardstock and white glitter cardstock. Layer the white eye shape onto the pink shape. Attach by rolling a piece of tape for each eye.
  6. Place the pink rectangular piece on the gift box, covering most one side.

  7. Place four aqua strips across the pink rectangle and attach with tape. Place four more aqua strips in the opposite direction and attach with tape.

  8. Cover the remaining sides of the box with white glitter cardstock. Add two strips of white glitter cardstock along the sides of the pink and aqua section. Attach all with tape.
  9. Attach the white lightning bolt to one side of the gift box with tape.

  10. Attach Gwen’s eyes onto the white glitter cardstock by rolling a piece of tape for each eye.

Peter Parker Gift Wrap

What You’ll Need:

  • Gift box
  • Red matte wrapping paper
  • Cardstock
  • White paper
  • Wax paper
  • Pencil
  • Masking tape
  • Silver string
  • Blue glitter hot glue
  • Clear tape

How to Make It:

  1. Wrap the gift with red wrapping paper.
  2. Create a spider web template by drawing webs of various sizes onto a white piece of paper. Tape the template to your working surface.
  3. Place a piece of wax paper on top of your template. Tape to your working surface.

  4. Trace each spider web with hot glue glitter stick. Let dry completely.
  5. Peel the webs off of the wax paper.
  6. Cut out Peter Parker’s eyes from black and white cardstock.

  7. Tape one end of the silver string to the back of the gift box. Wrap the string around the box to create a web. Thread the blue glitter webs onto the silver string before attaching the other end.

  8. Attach Peter Parker’s to the corner of the gift box.

Notes

All cutting and hot gluing should be done by an adult.
