7_last_minute_diy_halloween_costumes

With so many Halloween movies and TV specials to watch, recipes to make, and crafts to concoct, October tends to fly by faster than the Sanderson sisters on their broomsticks. It’s possible to realize that in all your anticipation for Halloween, you forgot the key component — the costume! Seeing as “forgetful Disney fan” probably isn’t the look you and the kids are going for, here are 7 last-minute options to help you steal the show.

1. Jasmine

You won’t need the help of a magic genie to create a look worthy of the crown princess of Agrabah. Just gather some clothes you already have, a few extra supplies from the fabric store, and hot glue your way to happily ever after!

2. Stitch

Put on some Elvis records and get down to crafting to create a Stitch costume headband that is truly out of this world. Complete the look with all blue everything, a lei, and, if you’re feeling wild (as Stitch so often is), some blinged-out sunglasses.

3. Iron Man

This DIY printable mask is so easy enough to make, most of your Halloween preparation time will be spent trying to perfect Tony Stark’s signature sarcasm. No Iron Man costume is complete without the one-liners!

4. Maleficent

If you want to take a walk on the dark side this Halloween, the first place to start is in Maleficent’s wicked wardrobe. In order to encapsulate her head-to-toe “Mistress of All Evil” look, place these printable horns in your head and let out a cackle.

5. Beastly Bat

This batty mask is inspired by a Beauty and the Beast masquerade, meaning you can wear it on its own, or pair it with a costume from a past year to be a Disney character in disguise!

6. Buzz Lightyear

If Halloween night needs some saving, just call Star Command. With this trusty DIY jetpack, Buzz Lightyear will be there to fight the fearsome spirits and earn his hero’s reward (hint: candy.)
