No matter the distance travelled, holiday time with family is the ultimate gift. Decorate your front door with gift wrap-inspired ribbons and bows. We even included a DIY gift tag as our “Welcome Home” sign!

What You’ll Need:

  • Large roll of ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Construction Paper

To create: Measure enough ribbon to wrap around the height of your front door twice. Trim from ribbon roll. Grabbing each end of the ribbon, cross once at the center of the door, and wrap around to the other side. Tie in a bow. Use tape to secure into place. To make the “Welcome Home” gift tags, encourage kids and grand-kids to draw their own Mickey-inspired art. We recommend laminating the tags to preserve kids’ art and make them waterproof. To complete the look, top your front door bow with a Mickey Mouse Hanging Wreath!

  • Acrylic paint
  • Sponge brush
  • Stencils
  • Water-repelling treatment

To create: Place stencils onto doormat. Dab your sponge brush into paint and onto the doormat. Paint about 2-3 coats and let dry completely. Coat your doormat with a waterproofing treatment before using. To finish the look, accent your DIY doormat with a Mickey Mouse Tree with White LED Lights.

No matter where you live, it’s easy to transform your front porch into a snowy cabin scene for the holidays. Repurpose old shipping boxes by wrapping them up as gifts, and create your own “Hidden Mickey” snowflakes. Complete the look with a Mickey Lamp Post with Light Up Wreath!

What You’ll Need:

  • Twigs
  • Acrylic paint
  • Hot glue
  • Twine

To create: Paint twigs in your favorite holiday colors. Once dry, hot glue the twigs into a snowflake shape. We created one larger snowflake, and two smaller ones, and attached them with hot glue to make a Mickey shape! Use twine around the outer edge of each snowflake to define the look.
