Whenever I have art supplies out, my son wants to play along and “help,” so it’s about time I let him create his own masterpiece during some “mommy and me” time.

So, we got some watercolors out for this quick and easy craft! I simply printed the Mary Poppins quote and my little one painted the inside of the heart. The final product showcases his “practically perfect” artwork.

This is a fun project that your kiddo can be a part of without you having to invest too much time or supplies. The memorable quote from Mary Poppins looks precious after being decorated and framed, but it also serves as a wonderful reminder to all moms that we’re doing the best we can at this whole parenting thing. This is so important to remember all year—but especially around Mother’s Day!

See the magic of Mary Poppins Returns in theatres on December 19! Get tickets!

How To Make It
