What You’ll Need

  • For Sally placemat: Black, teal, pink, and yellow paper
  • Black marker
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Self-adhering laminating sheets
  • For Zero napkin: White paper napkin
  • Rubber band
  • Red ribbon
  • Small red pom pom
  • Black paper
  • Hole punch
  • Hot glue
  • For Wreath cup ring: Green pipe cleaners
  • Red ribbon
  • Googly eyes
  • Hot glue

How To Make It

  1. For Sally placemat: Start with a piece of black paper then layer pink, yellow, and teal pieces on top.
  2. Add stripes, small dots, and swirls to decorate!
  3. Glue down all the paper pieces.
  4. Add “stitches” along all the borders.
  5. Add the laminating sheets over and press smooth.
  6. For the Zero napkin: Unfold the napkin and pinch it at the middle; this will be Zero’s nose.
  7. Tie a rubber band about 3 inches down from that point, or where you want his collar to be placed. Then cover it with a red ribbon.
  8. Cut out two ears from another napkin, and hole punch two pieces from black paper.
  9. Glue on a red pom pom for his nose, the two black hole punches for his eyes, and his ears.
  10. For the wreath cup ring: Braid 6 pipe cleaners together, using 2 for each strand.
  11. Measure it around the cup you want to use, then wrap the ends together to connect it.
  12. Tie a red bow with the ribbon and glue onto the wrapped ends. Then glue two eyes at the top.

Notes

All cutting and gluing should be done by an adult.
