What You’ll Need
- Regular cardstock
- Gold paper in various textures (found at a local craft store)
- Hot glue
- Yarn, string, or twine
How To Make It
- Draw a 4-5″ star shape on regular cardstock. Carefully cut out. This will be your stencil. Create 2-3 star stencils in slightly varying sizes to give each star a unique personality.
- Trace star shape onto squares of gold paper of various textures and patterns. Carefully cut out. To create a double-sided garland, use rectangular-shaped paper, folded in half. This way you’ll create both sides at once when you cut out each star.
- Measure out twine to your preferred length. Place stars evenly along the twine. Attach with hot glue.
All cutting and hot gluing should be done by an adult. Let dry completely before hanging on the wall.
