Aurora “Paper Doll” Lunch
- Small scissors
- 1 slice chicken deli meat
- 1/2 slice wholemeal bread
- 1/4 eggplant skin
- 1 cooked angel hair pasta
- 1 slice ham deli meat
- 1 slice light cheddar
- 1/4 slice Monterey Jack
- 1 slice cheddar
- 1 slice white bread
- 3 tablespoons cream cheese
- Blue food coloring
All cutting should be done by an adult.
Use a pair of scissors to cut out chicken to make Aurora’s face and body. Continue to cut out her skirt from wholemeal bread and her corset from eggplant. Place them on her body and add pasta for the string on her corset.
Cut out her eyes, nose, mouth, and headband from eggplant skin. Continue to cut out two ovals from ham for the blush on her cheeks. Then cut out her hair from the lighter cheddar. Place them on her face.
To make her pink gown and shoes, cut them out from the ham and Monterey Jack. Assemble her gown. Then cut out her crown and necklace from the darker cheddar.
To make her blue gown and shoes, cut them out from white bread and Monterey Jack. Dye cream cheese blue with food coloring. Then spread it onto the white bread cutouts. Assemble her gown.
