  • Green and purple food coloring
  • Shell and mermaid tail molds
  • Skewer
  • Blue sugar, pearl, and fish sprinkles
  • MILK CHOCOLATE HOT COCOA:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 oz milk chocolate chips
  • Marshmallows
  • WHITE CHOCOLATE HOT COCOA:
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk

Directions

  1. BELLE: Grab your first mug and your piping bag filled with yellow icing. Start at the handle and make half circle motions to create the gathers in Belle’s dress. Repeat this step 3-4 times until the top of your mug is covered in these loops.

  2. Next, grab your yellow pearl sprinkles and place one at each of the points where the loops meet. To add the finishing touch, place one of your sugar roses on the rim.

  3. RAPUNZEL: Grab another mug and the same piping bag with yellow icing. Start at the top rim near the handle and work your way down and around, creating a crossing motion with the icing to form the braid. Once you’ve made it completely around, finish by making a comma-shaped loop for the end of the braid.

  4. Decorate Rapunzel’s braid with your pink sugar flowers!

  5. ARIEL: Start by melting 1/2 a cup of white chocolate in the microwave for about 3 minutes, stopping at 1 1/2 minutes to stir. Once your chocolate is completely melted add in your green food coloring (about 2-3 drops) and mix well.

  6. Pour the chocolate into your mermaid tail mold and finish by inserting a skewer so that it pokes out the top, where the waistline is (not the fin side). Repeat the chocolate melting process with purple food coloring for the shells. Place molds in fridge for about 5 minutes or until chocolate is completely hardened.

  7. Grab your mug and begin swirling your vanilla icing on the rim using your piping bag. To make it look more like sea foam bring the icing down further in some areas to look more organic. Once complete, sugar coat with your blue sugar sprinkles and decorate with the pearl and fish sprinkles. Next, attach your chocolate shells at the rim using a small amount of icing and place the mermaid tail inside the mug (skewer side down).

  8. MILK CHOCOLATE HOT COCOA: Combine milk, cream, sweetened condensed milk, and chocolate chips into a sauce pan. Over medium-high heat continually stir until chocolate evenly melts and blends into milk and cream mixture (about 8-10 minutes). Pour into your Belle mug, and top with marshmallows.
