Calling all pizza lovers! We all know that pizza is the ultimate comfort food, and today, I’m here to show you how to make a Mickey-inspired pizza dip. If you haven’t yet tried a pizza dip, you are in for a real treat. There is nothing better than breaking off a piece of freshly baked biscuit and dipping it into a sea of tomato sauce and melty cheese.
This dish is the perfect thing to serve on a cozy night in or bring to a fun gathering. It has all the right ingredients necessary for a happy and hearty snack.
Mickey Pizza Dip
- 2 cans biscuit dough
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 2 Tbsp parsley, dried
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 Cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 8 Oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 Cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 Cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
- 1/4 Cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1/4 Cup pizza sauce
- Pizza toppings (optional)
Preheat the oven to 350° F. Open dough cans. Cut each biscuit section in half and roll into balls.
Grease pans. Place dough balls around the edge of the large, round pan. Fill the bottom of the two smaller pans with dough balls.
Combine oil, parsley, and garlic in a small bowl. Brush on dough.
In a large bowl, combine 1 1/4 cup mozzarella, cream cheese, ricotta, Parmesan, and basil. Place cheese mixture inside the dough balls.
Spoon pizza sauce on top. Then top with remaining 3/4 cup mozzarella. Top with pizza toppings, if desired.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until biscuits are golden and cheese is melty.
Cool for 10 minutes. Pop biscuits out of the smaller cake pans and place on top of the larger pan to form a Mickey head, and serve.
