Mike Wazowski always warns Sulley, “Once you name it, you start getting attached to it.” This wise advice didn’t stop us from turning a healthy green apple into a tiny version of Mike Wazowski. But have no fear! This is one snack you’ll want the kids to get hooked on.

Mike Wazowski Apple

20 min

  • 1 green apple
  • 1/2 of one mini light cheese wheel
  • 1/3 of one green grape
  • 1/2 of one raisin
  • 2 almond slivers
  • 1/2 teaspoon reduced-fat peanut butter
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Helpful Tip

All cutting should be done by an adult.

  1. Wash and dry apple.

  2. Slice one mini cheese wheel in half lengthwise to create two circles. Set aside one circle.

  3. Slice one green grape in thirds. Set aside 1/3 of grape.

  4. Slice one raisin in half. Set aside 1/2 of raisin.

  5. Use a knife to cut into top of apple in two places to press the almond slivers into the apple. Use a dab of peanut butter to place cheese in center of apple.

  6. Use peanut butter to stick 1/3 of the grape to the center of the cheese.

  7. Use a very small amount of peanut butter to attach 1/2 of a raisin to the center of the grape.

  8. Slice into apple below Mike’s eye to create mouth shape. Enjoy!
