Craft Time with Bonnie Snack
- 2 Mini Babybel® Original Cheese
- 1/8 red bell pepper
- 1 stick yellow squash
- 1/2 carrot
- 1 stick celery
- 1/4 zucchini, cut lengthwise
- 1 slice whole wheat bread, cut lengthwise from a loaf
- 1 slice strawberry
- 1 slice banana, with skin on
- 1 slice kiwi
- 8 blueberries
- 1 strip roasted red bell pepper
- Kitchen scissors
- Extra wide drinking straw
- Drinking straw
All cutting should be done by an adult. Also, this recipe gets a Disney Check. It’s a quick and easy way for families to identify better foods and beverages that meet Disney’s nutrition guideline criteria, and helps kids and parents agree on better choices.
Using a knife, cut out the shape of Forky’s head from a Mini Babybel cheese. Then, from the second cheese, cut out the top of the paint brush. Using the remaining cheese, Cut out Forky’s neck. Finally, cut out his large eye and small eye from a slice of the remaining cheese using extra wide and regular drinking straws.
Using a knife, cut out crayon shapes from the red bell pepper, yellow squash, carrot, and celery. Then, cut out the handle of the paint brush from zucchini.
Cut out a long, crust-less, rectangular piece of bread. Place the slices of strawberry, carrot, banana, kiwi, and the blueberries atop the bread to create a complete paint palette.
Using kitchen scissors, cut out the black part of Forky’s eyes from the skin of one blueberry. Use the strip of roasted red bell pepper to create his hands.
