Serves
2

Ingredients

  • 1 whole grain bread slice
  • 1/2 a cucumber
  • Skin of 1/2 an eggplant
  • 1/3 Cup baby spinach
  • 3 Mini Babybel® Original Cheeses
  • 1 whole grain spaghetti noodle, cooked
  • MATERIALS NEEDED: kitchen scissors

Helpful Tip

All cutting should be done by an adult.

Directions

  1. Cut out claw shape from whole grain bread using a knife or a pair of kitchen scissors. Then, toast (a toaster oven works best).

  2. Using a knife, cut out the Alien’s ears and antenna from the cucumber.

  3. Using a pair of scissors, cut out the Alien’s eyelids, eyeballs, and mouth from the skin of an eggplant.

  4. Arrange spinach leaves in an oval shape. Add the ears and antenna.

  5. Add on Mini Babybel cheese for the eyes, and the eggplant eyelids, eyeballs, and mouth.

  6. Arrange the claw. Save a noodle from your spaghetti lunch or dinner and use it to create the string on top.
