Buzz Lightyear Snack

  • 7 grapes
  • 1/4 a yellow bell pepper
  • 1/4 a carrot
  • 1 whole grain bread slice
  • 2 Mini Babybel® Original Cheeses
  • 1/4 a red bell pepper
  • 1/4 a green bell pepper
  • 1/2 a leaf of red cabbage
  • MATERIALS NEEDED: toothpicks, star cutters, kitchen scissors

Helpful Tip

All cutting should be done by an adult.

  1. Use toothpicks to join the grapes together. (Note: If you have a little one, use 4 grapes and cut them in half longwise.)

  2. Using star cutters, cut out yellow bell peppers and carrots.

  3. Using a knife, cut out 2 wings from whole grain bread. Then, toast (a toaster oven works best).

  4. For the middle of the wings, cut the Mini Babybel cheese longwise and trim it a little to make the right shape.

  5. Then, using the remaining cheese, slice some longwise again and get the right shape for the side of the wings.

  6. Cut out the rest of the design using red and green bell pepper and red cabbage. Arrange the cheese and veggies on the bread.

  7. Join the wings with the larger cheese piece in the middle.

  8. Using a knife, cut out the design for the middle of the wings with red and green bell pepper and red cabbage. Arrange on the cheese.

  9. Use Mini Babybel cheese for the planet. Then, use a pair of kitchen scissors to cut out a carrot ring. Finish by adding it to the cheese.
