Back-to-school season calls for fun Disney-inspired lunches for the little ones. And who better to accompany them at school than the silly, old bear Winnie the Pooh?!
This splendiferous recipe is inspired by the books — only you can eat them! The Winnie the Pooh Book Wraps are sure to be the winner at lunch.
And when the kids arrive home, whip up this Cars-themed after-school snack.
Winnie the Pooh Book Wraps
- 2 soft flour tortillas
- 4 slices ham
- 4 slices Monterey Jack
- Pooh cookie cutter
- 2 slices cheddar
- Alphabet cookie cutters
- Red bell pepper
Cut tortillas into rectangles, to be used as book covers.
Cut ham and Monterey Jack into rectangles, about half the size of the tortillas, to be used as book pages.
Using a Winnie the Pooh cookie cutter, cut out and imprint Pooh from cheddar cheese. Using alphabets cutters, cut out the word “Pooh” from red bell pepper.
To assemble, spread mayonnaise on one side of the wrap, stack four alternating layers of Monterey Jack and ham on top, and fold over the wrap to form a book.
Place Pooh and alphabet cutouts on the cover of the book. Repeat for second “book.”
