Wreck-It Ralph is one of my daughter’s favorite films, so we are already gearing up for the release of the sequel this November by making yummy treats inspired by Ralph.

Get ready for a sugar rush with this sweet hot cocoa you can enjoy while having a Wreck-It Ralph-inspired game night with your family!

Wreck-It Ralph Hot Cocoa

Ingredients

  • MATERIALS:
  • Large mug
  • Piping bag
  • Medium and large, round tips
  • Scissors
  • TOPPINGS:
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • Yellow and red food coloring
  • Candy of your choice
  • HOT COCOA:
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp sugar

Helpful Tip

All cutting should be done by an adult.

Directions

  1. Melt 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips combined with 1 tablespoon of oil.

  2. Add 8 drops of yellow and 3 drops of red food coloring to your melted white chocolate, and mix well to make it orange.

  3. Place your orange chocolate in a piping bag with a large round tip, and pipe onto the rim of your mug.

  4. Once dried, melt your remaining 1/4 cup of white chocolate and 1 tablespoon of oil. Once melted, add in red food coloring until you have the desired shade.

  5. Place red chocolate in a piping bag with the medium piping tip, piping on a plaid design.

  6. On the stove top, combine your hot chocolate ingredients and stir until combined.

  7. Pour your hot chocolate mixture into your mug, and garnish with the candy toppings of your choice!
